Fork In Apple.com is really about options.

We love Apple’s products but are distraught that they have chosen to deny us Flash enabled sites on their iPhone and iPad devices.

We appreciate and understand that HTML5 will take over as the latest emerging technology and applaud the support they’ve provided this open standard. What we don’t understand is why we, loyal Apple users, need to suffer.

A large percentage of sites use some component of Flash in order to bring their content to the web. Sure it’s an older technology, there may be better options out there, but we’re used to having universal access to websites!

Perhaps unwittingly, Apple has censored us. They have stopped displaying content on the web because they have decided what should be visible and what shouldn’t. We are free people and should be able to make up our own minds.

This site is really just a way to demonstrate to Apple that free spirited independent people can and will make up their own minds as to what content they wish to see.
